About me

I am Blueprintique and I make handmade blueprints. It started with a single fern leaf laid on prepared paper and the curiosity whether it would work at all. It did.

My workshop is in the attic and my "studio" is the garden, because without sun there is no work. I choose motifs by shape — I am interested in the silhouette, not the detail. Plants, natural structures and technical forms that stay legible even when only an outline remains.

Every edition is made in a small number of pieces and numbered. Once an edition is gone, I do not reprint it. If you are interested in your own motif or a larger format, write to me.
